What is a Light Conversion?
This is a service that Éclat has been providing for many years. We take existing light fixtures that do not have battery backup and install an inverter and a battery inside giving, it the ability to be powered off it’s own battery when there is no power being supplied via the power grid.
The battery is charged via the mains power when the power grid is active, this typically means that the battery is fully topped up and ready to power the light when the power goes off.
Not all light fixtures can have a conversion done, it mainly depends on the space available in the light fixture.
The duration that a light will last on battery backup is determined by the battery installed, so the bigger the battery, the longer the duration.
