Description
Tubular Batteries:
The Positive Plates of Tubular Batteries are made of Tubular Spines, compared to the Negative Plate is of conventional type (Flat Plate).
Positive Plate (Spine):
- Spines are casted and Gauntlets are fitted for filling Lead Oxide Powder.
- Lead Oxide is filled in Gauntlets by a special Plant.
After filling Powder Gauntlets are sealed by Bottom Bar so that the Powder does not come out. - This is also known as Tubular Plate.
Gauntlet:
It is retention system for Lead oxide to prevent active material in the positive plate from shedding. Gauntlets are made of special Woven and Non-woven material which is acid resistance.
Negative Flat Plate:
The Negative Plates are casted and are pasted with Active Material. The Negative Plate is also called Flat Pasted Plate.
PE Folded Separator:
Polyethylene Folded Separator prevents the Short Circuits, enhances the Electrical Performance and increases the Life of the Batter.
Container / Cover:
PP Containers/Covers increases the Strength of Battery and prevents Leakage of Electrolyte.
Float Indicators (Floater):
The purpose of Float Indicators is to ascertain the level of Electrolyte in Container.
MS Bolts/Nuts:
MS Nuts / Bolts and L Type Terminal are used for secure connections.
Features:
Thick Negative Plate and Positive Tubular Plate are used for giving long life to the Battery.
Good Electrical performance due to PE Separators.
• Less Maintenance as more Head Room for acid thus giving longer life to the Battery.
Fitted with Floater for determining the level of ensuring the Acid Volume does not fall below from Red as marked on Floater.
Designed to have a life of over 1250 Cycles at 80 %DOD.
Usage:
- Ideal Battery for Solar applications where 5000 Cycles could be obtained at 20 % DOD.
- Highly suitable for Deep Discharge at 25 °C.
Suitable for Telecommunications Power Supply.
Equally good for Cyclic Use and UPS / Inverter System.
Highly suitable for Solar and Wind Energy Storage.
Suitable for Frequent Power Shutdown
